History:

“Two Boards – the Huron Real Estate Board and the Perth County Real Estate Board – merged their operations together March 1, 2001, to better serve their 230+ members as a not-for-profit association for REALTORS® dedicated to providing services, education, standard use of forms, and the MLS® system to it’s members.

The Board enforces a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Practice to it’s members to maintain the integrity of organized real estate; to promote interest in the marketing of real estate; and to promote, encourage and protect the ownership of real property to the public.

HPAR joined other not-for-profit real estate associations in 2017,  as a cost-effective collaborative partnership to provide shared knowledge, expertise and resource decisions related to MLS® data, forms, schema, formats and functionality leading to best practices while preserving the uniqueness of each member Board.  This governance group will continue to provide exceptional technology solutions to all their users and the consumers they serve.
